WELCOME TO CASTLE CRAWL CYMRU!

I’m Welsh, born and bred, and yet a lot of my own history I never knew.

Having always lived amongst the Marches of Powys there’s never been a day that I haven’t been a stone’s throw away from an ancient castle, abbey or standing stone.

Even my school bus would pass castle ruins to and from home, but I never learned the significance of these historical monuments until I left school.

I hope that this little site helps you to explore the wonder that is Wales!
